Originally from Monterey, California, Brendan Calder found his passion for working with cameras at a young age while surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. Since graduating from Loyola Marymount University Film School in Los Angeles, he has worked as a director of photography for many clients, most notably: World Surf League, Major League Soccer, Fender Guitars, Canelo Promotions, Bayer Healthcare, and many others. His work strives to create a visual experience that matches the emotion of the story being told. He is currently in production for a number of commercial and documentary film projects, and is actively looking to shoot feature documentary films and long form docu-series moving forward.
